changes or additions to any structures or the shoreline, you need to call Alabama Power

About Weiss Lake |
| February through May are the best months to
fish for crappie. Weiss Lake was built for hydroelectric power, but it is also used for
flood control, irrigation, drinking water, and recreation.The lake gets it water from the
Coosa, Chattooga, and Little Rivers. Weiss Lake covers 30,200 acres with 454 mile of
shoreline. |
